MY CURRENT LIFE
My current life :
I would say overall Liposuction changed my life, in a good way.
I'm now wearing so many shorts and skirts that I never thought I could and even became a freelance blogshop model.
I am happy with my legs now and all my friends just thought I miraculously slimmed down tons of weight when actually I just lost 1-2kg, which the actual fact is I went for liposuction.
I have thigh gaps now and I'm really happy :-)
CURRENT ME :
(Pictures of my legs, breasts and buttocks)
The reason why I'm uploading pictures now is because for liposuction, final results might take up to 2 years to show.
I am really grateful to Dr Arthur, and my experience with Elixir De Vie actually made me miss that place too!
Recently I had a consultation with Dr Arthur when he was back to SG, and he was very happy to see my final results!
However he feel that there is still some more room for improvement(hehe he is really dedicated in creating and finishing up his masterpiece), thus I am set to go back for one more round of liposuction for my calves and to improve my entire leg overall and also another round of fat transfer to my breasts.
Don't get me wrong, I like my breasts now, it's just that some areas can be filled to make it look firmer.
The reason why Dr Arthur did not transfer too much fats for me the last time as too much fats transferred to the breasts might cause uneven and hard lumps due to the absorption of the fats, if there are too many, our breasts might not able to "take it", and thus resulting to the uneven and hard lumps. :-)
I am going back to Dr Arthur in Medan during march this year, and I will update this blog with my results once again.
Thank you all for reading this blog.
Do stay tuned if you are also keen in Rhinoplasty, I will be sharing with everyone my rhinoplasty journey on this blog too which the surgery will take place in Mid July. :-)
If you go to Elixir De Vie website, I'm in one of the case studies, case study no. 4, under the full body transformation category.

MY SURGERY ON JUNE 14TH 2011
My surgery :
I did my surgery on the 14th of June in year 2011. I was only 20?
Haha but I remembered myself being so determined about it.
After all the confirmation with the Dr I booked my flight in mar 2011, and I finally waited till the day, 14.06.11!
Medan is in Indo, very near to Singapore. I think around 1 hour flight?
Air-tickets around $50-$100 depending on flight time and airlines.
I reached medan at approx 11.30am and there was a driver driving a mini-bus (w aircon xD) to take us to Elixir De Vie.
Was I scared as I went alone?
Frankly no.
Because I already feel so taken care of when I was emailing Elixir De Vie and I just knew its a right thing to do.
I was more excited than scared.
I got there and I met a new friend. She went alone too and is from SG.
My op was scheduled to be on the 14th, exact day I landed so I quickly consulted Dr Arthur once I got to the Elixir De Vie.
Elixir De Vie - it is like a bungalow, those that you see in SG.
It's more like a mini hospital with many rooms and also it is so welcoming!
The atmosphere and even the nurses.
I loaded my luggage in the room and quickly changed to go down to meet the man behind this awesome hospital.
Met Dr Arthur, was quite shocked to see him as he looks super young and really fit. He runs marathons to keep fit, a very good example to all his patients hehe and also has really nice complexion!
He analysed my problem areas and told me the risks that I can expect, and also very clearly explained to me the liposuction and fat transfer process.
Soon after we proceeded to the surgery room, and I was wiped all over with iodine solution.
I was under LA during the surgery but I remembered I was sleeping and there was no pain at all.
Couldn't really remember what happened during the surgery and the next thing I knew I was on the bed all dressed and my legs all wrapped up.
I felt slight aching, really no pain at all for me but I have got very good pain tolerance heh heh.
All in all it was a surgery that happened during my sleep and it felt like magic cos when I woke up, I AM A NEW ME!
The doctor showed me pictures of my legs before and after and I remember I was so happy I teared slightly.
Can't blame me! I was called fat thighs, pig legs all these while!
My breasts were very sore but much rounder compared to the past(which was just a day before hehehe).
Can't believe one day in my life made a change to my entire life.
I'm so proud of myself and happy I made this decision.
I'm even more happy with Dr Arthur, thankful is the word!
Overall my stay lasted 5 days, as I wanted more post op care as this is my first time. The kind nurses massaged me every morning (complimentary if you do surgery) and changed my dressing everyday. I couldn't really remember about bathing but I think I'm not allowed to bathe one or two days after the surgery.
During my 2nd day I visited the malls in Medan as Dr says it's good to talk a walk once in a while after the surgery for blood circulation.
Had a great time hanging out with another fellow singaporean who went for liposuction too, and flew back on the 18th. I really enjoyed my stay at Elixir De Vie and Dr Arthur is really a super nice doctor.
I guess one thing I really hated about liposuction is having to wear compression garments and the swelling. Overall my swelling lasted 2 months. After two months my legs shape really showed, but I'm told by Dr Arthur the entire swelling process might take up to 1-1.5 years depending on individual.
I did not have any bruises prior to my surgery just some yellowing of my skin maybe due to the fact I took yunnanbaiyao a few days prior to surgery and very slightly and on and off swelling due to my diet (heh heh I didn't listen to the Dr and ate junk food like maggi noodles which is high in sodium that causes water retention).
I massaged myself religiously everyday to speed up healing process and changed my dressing and wear compression garments for 2 weeks. To be honest I feel the longer you wear the garments the better the healing process.
That's all for the surgery/process.
After lipo Day 1 and 1.5 months thereafter(Ops room pic credits to Dr Arthur)

MY LIPOSUCTION JOURNEY : Part 1 - My story
My story :
I used to be fat as a child.
Okay maybe I was petite and had a smaller bone frame than other girls but honestly I was the chubbier kid compared to the rest.
I was called many names as a kid; fatty, pig, fatso, etc etc.
Until I told myself that I want to be different and feel different once I got into secondary school.
When I was sec 1, I dropped my weight from 56kg to 47kg.
My height was 156cm then.
My weight stayed the same throughout my sec school days, I wasn't that fat kid anymore, but I wasn't as slim as I wanted to be, still, but at least at that point no one actually commented on my looks or my weight then.
During that point I was with an ex-boyfriend of mine.
I remembered his friends as being mean as they didn't really like me due to the fact I spent too much time with him, taking most of his time away
They started to be really immature and mean, launching personal attacks at me and calling me names like pig-legs, fat thighs, giant legs, etc.
It hurt me a lot as I started to remember my primary school days with all the names-calling.
But thinking back those people are just super childish despite being secondary 4.
Moving on to my poly days, my weight fluctuated, but my height did increase slightly from sec 3-4, I grew 3cm taller wahaha but in average my weight was 49kg.
As you can see, I was still about the same size even though I was slightly taller.
My body frame was petite and even bony, but when I look at my bottom half of my body, I really have to admit I'm heavier waist down.
I've got a bigger butt, larger thighs and calves than someone of my body frame/size should have and I have inherited my dad's famous thick ankles.
I remember during year 3 of my poly life, I went cny visiting with a group of friends. Two of my close guy friends were walking behind me and they were whispering something like, "yah ah her thighs quite big..".
I heard and I turned around to ask them about what I heard. Obviously I was hurt. And yeap guys being guys they just told me in my face my thighs are bigger than they should be. It then got me thinking, maybe I really should something about them.
I can't embrace them, then why not work out something to make myself feel better and look better?
At the end of my poly days, I started working. I tried exercising and many many ways to slim down. And I did, my weight dropped to a whopping 46kg but guess what? My thunder thighs are still there. No thigh gaps, too lumpy front and back and I didn't dare to wear shorts and skirts.
I exercised till I am slightly flat chested but my thighs are still.. fat.
I felt so sad one day when I looked into the mirror.
Why am I born this way?
Why must I have thighs like these?
Should I just live with it?
Then I started researching on ways on slimming thighs and calves.
What came out was just diet, exercise and more exercises to curb this problem.
But I already am on a super strict diet and am working out too much to be good for my own body...
Until I found this : Liposuction
I was curious and researched intensively on liposuction and found many doctors that does liposuction, until I saw Elixir De Vie's website with reliable clear and explanations and also before and after pictures of all the happy patients.
I was intrigued with what I have found and read each and every case study, and by the end of it all I am very amazed by what I found. He is using the traditional lipo method which is safe and scars are approx 2-3mm big(like average pimple scar size) which everything is under his professional control so you do not have to worry about things getting out of control like what happened to the CEO who did lipo by machine and died due to the cannulas puncturing his internal organs.
I read on Elixir De Vie's website that Dr Arthur's method is safe as the cannula he uses is so thin it can only get under the skin to draw fats out (by his own strength not machine mind you!) so it is absolutely safe that you don't have to worry it will puncture your organs.
Without hesitation I quickly emailed Dr Arthur, the Doctor which does all the liposuction cases in his hospital, Elixir De Vie, situated in Medan.
I sent him photos of me asking for all the price quotes and the areas that I should lipo on, and I got a reply very soon from his assistant Jenny.
Jenny told me she would check with Dr Arthur about my queries and in the meantime she directed me to some articles on Elixir De Vie website to read on more about what I wanted to do.
Soon after the I got a reply and Jenny told me the Dr's professional views and in the end we settled on liposuction-ing 7 areas and fats transfer to my flat chested boobs area haha.
The 6 areas are : thighs front, thighs back, thighs side, side of my knees, buttocks and armpit fats.
(Good thing about Dr Arthur is that he charges both thighs one part as one area. I.e : thigh front (left thigh and right thigh) as one area. Do you know that some surgeons charge one thigh one part as one area? Imagine how much that could cost u!!)
I did fat transfer to my breasts too, using my own fats (those that the doctor lipo-ed out from my body) and after that my breasts are firmer, less manly and rounder. :-)
Here are pictures of me when I had my fat legs.
